Looking for Prostitutes in Karachi?

From the Dawn Blog:

I’d love for Dawn to take up this news story.

Nowadays, women feel afraid near Bilawal House in Clifton, Karachi. It’s a prostitution hub, the entire area. The road in front of Pak Towers leading to the Bilawal House. The streets facing Bilawal House. Sea View McDonald’s. The streets facing Zamzama Park.

But the problem is that the horny men are going after normal women as well. They open and shut their car doors real fast — it is suggestive of ‘pick up.’

I know this is a taboo subject in the newspapers. But could we take them on? For God’s sake, the honor of Karachi women is at stake.

And all these horny males have big cars, expensive ones. They are PPP ministers, perhaps, or their sons, or corrupt businesspersons if not Taliban.

Women are feeling scared. Someone ought to tell them not to try and make prostitutes out of every soul. We know they’re disgusting and hideous-looking — these men — and their brains hardly work. Still, can we do something in the media to stop them from harassing normal women?

We can blog their car license plate numbers. What else?

———————————————————————————————————————————————

Women should go on reporting their car license plate numbers. Basically if you’re looking for prostitutes in Karachi and you try to pick up women that aren’t prostitutes — even a foreign law enforcement agency can come after you for the reason that this behavior is very Taliban. Don’t open and shut your car doors in the face of every Karachi lady. You will be reported.

And tell the next prostitute you visit to put a shiny red sticker on her car so that you don’t make wild guesses. You will be reported. It doesn’t matter that the police sides with pimps in this area. Foreigners are permitted to come after Taliban if the Pakistan police is impotent.
